Per Diem Pharmacist | Baltimore, Maryland

A per diem opportunity is available for a retail pharmacist position to provide coverage on August 13 and August 18 in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves working first shift hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM using Pioneer pharmacy software.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure their safe and efficient delivery to customers under the supervision of the pharmacy manager.
• Counsel and advise patients on their medication regimens and proper usage.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following established organizational policies.
• Maintain inventory control including stock and records of controlled substances.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify insurance coverage and third-party billing concerns.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience in retail pharmacy practice.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software (experience with Pioneer is preferred).
