A specialty pharmacy dedicated to behavioral health medications is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist for short-term coverage in Baltimore, MD. This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in behavioral medications within a focused pharmacy environment.

Location:

• Baltimore, MD (2760 Lighthouse Point E)

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 3–5 days per week (ideal schedule is 3 days, but candidates wishing to work 5 days will also be considered)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions for behavioral health medications
• Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure safe medication use
• Oversee and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland Pharmacist license in good standing with no disciplinary history
• Prior experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong preference for candidates experienced with behavioral health medications

Pharmacy Details:

• Average daily prescription volume of 100–200
• Utilizes PioneerRX pharmacy system
• Pharmacy support includes five technicians and one staff pharmacist
• Two pharmacists are on duty at all times to ensure quality care
