A rewarding travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Vermont, serving a 100-bed community hospital within a respected health network. This role offers a unique chance to practice in a dynamic hospital environment, assisting in optimal medication management for diverse patients.

Location: Barre, VT (with work performed in a community hospital setting in Berlin, VT)

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shift options: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Assignment Details:

  • Immediate start
  • Duration: 4 to 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Medication reconciliation to ensure accuracy and patient safety
  • Verification of medication orders
  • Management of vancomycin dosing and associated lab monitoring
  • Renal dosing adjustments based on patient needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience
  • Strong proficiency in IV medication management
  • Licensed pharmacist in Vermont or eligibility for a provisional (temporary) Vermont license, with commitment to obtaining permanent licensure during assignment
