Travel Pharmacist in Barre, VT

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Barre, Vermont, supporting a 100-bed community hospital within a university health network. This role offers an engaging work environment where your expertise in IV medication and clinical pharmacy will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform medication reconciliation and order verification to ensure patient safety.
• Manage vancomycin dosing and laboratory monitoring effectively.
• Oversee renal dosing adjustments based on patient needs.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, or 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience.
• Solid background in IV medication preparation and administration.
• Current Vermont pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a provisional (temporary) license with intention to secure a permanent license while working.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex medication regimens.
