Pharmacist in Baton Rouge, LA

A Louisiana licensed pharmacist with specialty or retail pharmacy experience is needed to join an onsite specialty pharmacy MTM team in Baton Rouge. This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with an initial 13-week assignment and potential for extension or direct hire.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform pharmacist production duties within a specialty pharmacy environment
• Conduct medication therapy management and ensure accurate dispensing
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Louisiana pharmacist license is required
• Must also hold or be willing to reciprocate licensure in one of the following states: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming
• Experience in retail or specialty pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work onsite in Baton Rouge throughout the assignment
