Pharmacist - Battle Creek, MI

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support an inpatient hospital environment. This 13-week contract role focuses on weekend coverage with some weekday shifts, providing a dynamic schedule and the possibility of direct hire.

Location: Battle Creek, MI (local candidates preferred; travel and housing support considered)
Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Some weekdays, 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM as needed

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense medications in an inpatient hospital setting
• Utilize Cerner Med Manager for efficient medication order entry and processing
• Manage medication automation through Pyxis systems to ensure correct distribution
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure safety protocols
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Michigan pharmacist license
• Proven inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner Med Manager and Pyxis automation systems
• Ability to work flexible weekend and weekday hours as required
• Signed agreements and commitment to professional standards
