Pharmacist - Bayfield, WI

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed hospital in Northern Wisconsin for an immediate start. This contract role offers a 13-week or longer assignment with a 7-on, 7-off rotation working 12-hour day shifts. This position is ideal for experienced pharmacists seeking dynamic clinical practice in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review medication orders to assess drug therapy, including dose, formulation, regimen, therapeutic duplication, and potential drug interactions
• Provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing services to optimize patient care
• Deliver pharmaceutical care through clinical interventions such as medication reconciliation and discharge medication education
• Oversee pharmaceutical compounding procedures ensuring compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 regulatory guidelines
• Utilize EPIC software for electronic health record management and documentation

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital experience, preferably in acute care settings
• Strong knowledge of drug therapy evaluation and pharmacokinetics
• Familiarity with USP compounding standards and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
