An opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to provide expert clinical pharmacy services within a managed care setting. The role is fully remote and offers a Monday through Friday schedule with rare weekend requirements a few times per year. Location: Remote (Must hold a valid Pharmacist License in OR, WA, or CA)

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist License in Oregon, Washington, or California
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a managed care environment, including expertise in prior authorizations, audits, appeals, and ALJ court hearings
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with medical directors, nurse case managers, and network providers
• Skilled in drug utilization review, clinical policy development, and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education

Responsibilities:

• Deliver clinical pharmacy services through direct patient care, population disease management, and specialty pharmaceutical coordination
• Develop and apply clinical pharmacy policies, participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities
• Review pharmacy and medical claims to assess needs and provide education to members and caregivers
• Communicate therapeutic recommendations to physicians that support positive patient outcomes
• Manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Optimize quality of care while managing pharmaceutical costs responsibly
