Pharmacist in Bellaire, TX

A well-established hospital within the Texas Medical Center is seeking an experienced pharmacist to support their busy pharmacy operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment serving a 500+ bed facility. The role is available for an immediate start with a contract duration of 13 weeks and potential to transition to a permanent position.

Location:

• Bellaire, TX (Texas Medical Center area)

Schedule:

• 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
• 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications to inpatient units
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor medication therapies and provide clinical support as needed
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as EPIC (preferred)

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license
• Texas IV certification required
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience
• Previous experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred
