A hospital in need of an experienced pharmacist is seeking a dedicated professional for a travel assignment in the Bellefonte, PA area. This opportunity involves working at a community hospital with approximately 150 beds, providing essential pharmacy services in a dynamic inpatient setting. The assignment is expected to last 6 to 8 months, with a start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
• Consult with physicians and healthcare staff to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Utilize pharmacy IT systems including Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis.

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of one year of inpatient pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with Meditech is highly desirable.
• Ability to work full-time with flexible availability for days and afternoons.
