Support inpatient behavioral health care as a Pharmacist in Council Bluffs, IA, providing essential medication management on weekends. This contract opportunity begins May 18 and continues until a permanent hire is made.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify medications accurately within a behavioral health setting
- Manage medication repackaging utilizing Milt, Medi-dose, or HCL systems
- Operate and maintain automated drug dispensing machines, including performing restock reports
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care
Qualifications:
- Valid Iowa pharmacist license required
- Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is preferred
- Familiarity with medication repackaging processes
- Basic skills in loading drugs into automated machines and running inventory reports
Schedule and Hours:
- Saturday and Sunday shifts
- 6 hours per day
