Pharmacist - Bellevue, Washington

A healthcare facility in the Seattle area is seeking a qualified pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy distribution functions. This contract position offers an ASAP start with a duration of 16 weeks or more and the potential to transition to permanent status.

Key Responsibilities: • Verify medication orders using Epic system to ensure accuracy and patient safety • Perform final product verification checks prior to medication dispensing • Provide clinical consultation and address drug information inquiries from healthcare staff • Supervise and oversee pharmacy technician activities to maintain operational efficiency • Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations as required

Schedule: • Variable days and afternoons • 8-hour shifts

Desired Qualifications: • Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice • Experience with Epic electronic medical records system • Familiarity with Pyxis automated dispensing technology • Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills • Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations, including emergency responses
