Pharmacist - Bellevue, Washington

A pharmacy role is available for a licensed pharmacist to support inpatient distribution functions in a hospital setting. This position focuses on ensuring accurate medication order verification and final product checks while assisting healthcare providers and pharmacy technicians in delivering quality patient care.

Location: Bellevue, WA (serving the greater Seattle area)
Job Type: Contract (16 weeks+) with potential for Temp-to-Hire

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using EPIC pharmacy software to ensure accuracy and safety
• Conduct final product verification checks before distribution
• Provide clinical drug information and answer pharmacy-related questions
• Supervise and oversee daily activities of pharmacy technicians
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response teams, ensuring timely medication delivery
• Utilize hospital IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to manage pharmacy workflows

Qualifications:

• Active Washington State pharmacist license required
• Availability to start immediately with full-time commitment
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is a plus
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail essential
