Pharmacist | Bellevue, Washington

Support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy operations in Bellevue, WA, with a focus on accuracy, clinical expertise, and technician oversight. This contract role offers a Monday to Friday day shift schedule over a 16+ week assignment, starting ASAP. You will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication distribution while assisting with clinical inquiries and managing pharmacy technician activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify orders using Epic pharmacy system.
• Conduct final product verification checks to ensure accuracy.
• Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information support.
• Oversee and supervise pharmacy technician functions.
• Maintain compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards.
• May float to Seattle location as needed to support operations.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Pharmacist license.
• Experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy settings is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system and Pyxis medication dispensing technology.
• Strong understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and function effectively in a dynamic environment.

Location:

• Bellevue, WA (suburb of Seattle)
• May require occasional floating to Seattle location.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts.
