Pharmacist - Bemidji, Minnesota

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a qualified pharmacist for a contract position from June through September. The role will be based in Walker, MN, servicing the facility’s long-term care and retail pharmacy needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both long-term care and retail pharmacist duties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
• Manage prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and medication therapy reviews.
• Provide immunizations and educate patients on medication use and health conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain pharmacy records and comply with safety protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (PharmD) or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Immunization certification and CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and patient care.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a specialty pharmacy setting.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
