Pharmacist in Bemidji, MN

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations in Bemidji, MN. This role involves 2nd shift coverage, working approximately 12:00 pm to 10:30 pm on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule. The assignment is scheduled to begin ASAP and will last for at least 13 weeks.

Responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and managing daily workflow
• Providing pharmacokinetic consultations and dosage adjustments
• Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management

Qualifications:

• Active Minnesota pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy technicians
