Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough order verification to ensure accuracy and safety of medications
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow and compliance with protocols
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge to adjust dosages and monitor treatments
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Minnesota pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to handle complex patient care scenarios
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is advantageous

Schedule:

• 2nd shift hours: approximately 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation providing extended periods off for work-life balance
