A specialty pharmacy in the Grand Forks market is seeking a pharmacist for a long-term contract opportunity. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with occasional weekend coverage and provides the opportunity to work within a patient-centered specialty pharmacy environment.
The ideal candidate will bring retail and/or long-term care pharmacy experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. If you enjoy direct patient interaction, medication management, and working as part of a collaborative pharmacy team, this opportunity is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
Perform standard pharmacist duties within a specialty pharmacy setting
Verify prescriptions and ensure medication accuracy
Counsel patients on prescription medications and proper medication use
Review patient profiles for safety and appropriateness of therapy
Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding medication-related questions
Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Support pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency
Work Hours
Monday through Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Some weekend coverage required
13+ week assignment
Experience
Previous pharmacist experience required
Retail pharmacy experience preferred
Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
Specialty pharmacy experience is a plus
Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
Other Qualifications
Active and valid Minnesota Pharmacist License
Strong communication and patient counseling skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a pharmacy team
Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment
