Travel Retail Pharmacist

We are seeking a Travel Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment supporting a health system’s outpatient pharmacies. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while gaining diverse experience across multiple nearby locations. 

Responsibilities

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure workflow efficiency
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail/outpatient setting
• Float between nearby pharmacy locations (within ~5 miles) as needed
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM
• Some Saturdays required
• 13+ week assignment

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Pharmacist license
• 1+ year of pharmacist experience 
• Retail or outpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to float between nearby sites
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
