Per Diem Pharmacist - Bensalem, PA

A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services on a per diem basis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist with experience in retail settings and familiarity with the DRX computer system. The position involves working at a newly opened location with very low prescription volume, allowing for focused, quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Location:

• Bensalem, PA

Schedule/Hours:

• Days: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Specific dates: July 27, 30, and 31

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide patient counseling
• Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications
• Utilize the DRX computer system for prescription processing and record keeping
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient and safe pharmacy operations
• Provide exceptional customer service in a retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license required
• Retail pharmacy experience necessary
• Proficiency with DRX computer system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare providers
