A part-time Pharmacist opportunity is available in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility with 50-60 beds, located in Kentfield, CA. This role offers day shifts and the potential for part-time hours to transition into full-time. The facility uses Wellsky and PYXIS automation systems, providing a modern clinical environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pharmaceutical care in an LTAC setting.
• Managing pharmacokinetics and anticoagulation therapies.
• Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal medication use.
• Utilizing Wellsky and PYXIS automation technologies to support medication dispensing and inventory control.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College or School of Pharmacy (required).
• California Pharmacist License (required).
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of retail experience welcomed, especially for pharmacists seeking to maintain clinical skills in an inpatient environment.
• Experience with inpatient or hospital pharmacy practice preferred.
• Familiarity with pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation, and TPN therapy preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor are a plus.
• Previous acute care experience is beneficial.
• Candidates with 10-12 years exclusively in community pharmacy are not preferred.
• PGY1 residency candidates may find the setting less suitable for long-term placement due to facility size.
