Pharmacist | Berlin, New Hampshire

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to provide vital pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting supporting multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. This contract role is based in a rural area and offers a Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekends, ideal for candidates seeking a balanced workweek with occasional weekend shifts.

Location: Berlin, NH (critical access hospital environment)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• ASAP start preferred

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage inpatient pharmaceutical services, including medication dispensing and verification
• Support clinical operations across ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency departments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication use and patient safety
• Utilize Meditech pharmacy system; familiarity with Omnicell medication automation is a plus
• Demonstrate independent decision-making, particularly during weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of pharmacy experience with previous hospital pharmacy exposure required
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital strongly preferred
• Must be able and willing to work independently, especially on weekends
• Candidate must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
