Pharmacist | Berlin, New Hampshire

This opportunity focuses on a dedicated inpatient pharmacist position supporting a hospital environment in Berlin, NH. The role requires a pharmacy professional skilled in hospital pharmacy practice, able to manage complex inpatient medication needs across multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Med/Surg, and Emergency.

Location: Berlin, New Hampshire
Position Type: Contract
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM to 4:30/5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
• Rotating weekends every third weekend; Saturday/Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care within inpatient hospital settings, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
• Independently manage pharmacy operations during weekend shifts, providing clinical support to critical care units.
• Utilize Meditech electronic health records for accurate medication documentation and ordering.
• Operate Omnicell automated dispensing systems to support medication distribution.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED to optimize patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.
• Ability to work independently, particularly during weekend shifts.
• Proficient in Meditech electronic medical record systems; experience with Omnicell is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services.
