Pharmacist | Berlin, New Hampshire

This contract opportunity is for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a healthcare facility in Berlin, New Hampshire. This role offers a chance to provide essential pharmacy services across multiple departments, including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. The position requires independent work, especially during weekend shifts, and involves utilizing systems like Meditech and Omnicell to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule/Hours

• Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 am to 4:30/5:00 pm (40 hours/week)
• Rotating weekends every 3rd weekend
• Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and support to inpatient units including ICU, L&D, M/S, and ED
• Independently manage pharmacy operations during weekend shifts
• Utilize Meditech and Omnicell systems for medication management and dispensing
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize medication therapy and ensure patient safety

Qualifications / Desired Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, particularly on weekends
• Experience with Meditech strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Omnicell is an advantage
• Ability to obtain a temporary New Hampshire pharmacy license (facilitated by the employer)
