Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmaceutical consultation.
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Utilize systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist license.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
• Comfort and capability to work night shifts (9:00 pm to 7:30 am).
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
