A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide coverage in the Hoover, AL area. This position requires availability from Wednesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 4th, with shifts running from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and check medication orders, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Focus on infusion-related duties, including checking IV and TPN preparations
- Utilize CareTend pharmacy system for order processing and documentation
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active and current Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
- Prior experience in infusion pharmacy preferred
- Inpatient pharmacist experience with IV/TPN checking accepted
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Location:
- Per diem coverage in Hoover, AL (serving the Bessemer area)
Schedule/Hours:
- Wednesdays through Fridays, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (9/2 – 9/4)
