Per Diem Pharmacist | Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Pharmacist opportunity available to support per diem pharmacy needs in Bethlehem, PA, with potential for long-term placement or transition to full-time hours. This role is ideal for both experienced pharmacists and new graduates eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment with training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure patient safety
• Counsel patients on medication usage and possible side effects
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements

Schedule:

• Tuesday & Thursday: 1 PM – 8 PM
• Some weekends: Saturday 8 AM – 4 PM; Sunday 10 AM – 2 PM

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist or new graduate willing to train
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety

Additional Details:

• Excellent technician support with a typical staffing model of 2 techs and 1 pharmacist during busy hours and 1 tech and 1 pharmacist during slower periods, ensuring the pharmacist is never working alone
