Facility Overview
This is a Tribal Hospital serving a Native American community approximately one hour from Billings, Montana. The pharmacist will handle a rewarding mix of inpatient and outpatient pharmacy duties, making this a clinically well-rounded assignment that keeps every day fresh and engaging. The facility uses RPMS (Resource and Patient Management System), the Indian Health Service pharmacy platform used across Tribal health facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

-Provide comprehensive pharmacy services across both inpatient and outpatient settings

-Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently using RPMS
-Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs
-Provide patient counseling and medication education to a diverse patient population
-Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout all operations
-Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes across both settings

Experience

-Pharmacy experience in inpatient or outpatient settings required
-Tribal health or Indian Health Service experience a strong plus
-RPMS experience helpful, willing to train the right candidate
-Comfortable working in a rural community health environment

-Strong clinical judgment across both inpatient and outpatient patient populations
-Compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to patient care
