Pharmacist - Binghamton, New York

This contract-to-hire position offers a dynamic schedule designed to provide work-life balance, with weekday hours from 9 AM to 7 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday shifts from 10 AM to 2 PM. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to manage inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs and drive profitability.
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately by weighing, measuring, and mixing drugs and other medical compounds.
• Provide consultation to customers on non-prescription medications and offer professional advice to self-medicating patients.
• Administer immunizations regularly to support patient wellness.
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, manage pharmacy staff scheduling, performance recognition, discipline, and task assignments to maintain operational effectiveness and meet business goals.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active New York State Pharmacist License.
• Preferred: Current New York Immunization License.
• Availability to begin promptly to address immediate staffing requirements.
