Per Diem Pharmacist in Birmingham, AL

Seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in the Soleo area of Hoover, Alabama. This position offers the opportunity to support a dynamic healthcare setting with shifts scheduled from Wednesday, 9/2 through Friday, 9/4, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Responsibilities include:

• Checking and verifying medications with precision and care
• Supporting infusion services, with a preference for pharmacists experienced in infusion therapy
• Utilizing the CareTend system effectively to ensure accurate medication management
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient safety

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current Alabama pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience with inpatient pharmacy, specifically in checking IVs and TPNs (total parenteral nutrition) is essential
• Prior infusion experience is preferred but not mandatory
