Pharmacist in Bixby, OK

Two Pharmacist positions are available supporting specialty hospital sites in Oklahoma, providing vital pharmacy services in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and rehabilitation setting. These roles are essential to maintaining high-quality patient care and pharmacy operations, focusing on inpatient pharmacy duties across either one or both facilities.

Location:

• Broken Arrow, OK and Muscogee, OK (two sites under the same Director of Pharmacy)
• One pharmacist ideally covering both sites; coverage at a single site is also acceptable

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Contract duration: 13 weeks with potential to convert to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring as required
• Support inpatient pharmacy services tailored to LTAC and rehab environments

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license is required
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred, though all candidates with relevant skills will be considered
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
