Pharmacist | Blackwood, New Jersey

An inpatient pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to provide overnight coverage during a 13-week maternity leave. This contract assignment offers an opportunity to support patient care in a hospital setting, beginning mid to late November with training prior to full responsibilities starting in early December.

Location: Blackwood, NJ
Schedule:

• Monday through Sunday, 7 days on, 7 days off
• Overnight hours, 8:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications to inpatients
• Perform final verifications on prescriptions
• Manage Pyxis refills throughout the shift
• Provide independent pharmacist coverage during overnight hours, including being the sole pharmacist on duty from 12:00 AM to 6:30 AM

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Jersey Pharmacist license required
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy settings is essential
• Compounding skills are a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records is preferred
• Recent pharmacy school graduates with inpatient rotation experience are encouraged to apply
