Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide comprehensive patient consultations regarding medication use and safety.
• Communicate medication information effectively to all customers.
• Maintain adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage medication orders from wholesalers, ensuring timely and accurate receipt.
• Perform sterile compounding and reconstitution of medications.
• Handle unit dosing and remove expired stock proactively.
• Conduct regular medication audits to maintain inventory integrity.
• Support billing activities aligned with pharmacy operations.
• Oversee pharmacy technician staff, providing supervision and guidance.
• Utilize the Cerner order entry system; training is provided.
