Pharmacist in Bloomsburg, PA

A leadership role is available for an experienced pharmacy professional to oversee and manage a retail pharmacy department. This position is responsible for driving pharmacy operations to achieve business growth, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service within a retail setting. The role offers a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts, totaling 36 hours per week, with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate strategic objectives.
• Oversee prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance processes.
• Manage inventory, sales tracking, and ordering of pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profitability.
• Implement and promote clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) to support script growth.
• Align pharmacy performance with key departmental metrics focused on effectiveness and efficiency.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and address customer inquiries and complaints to build trust and loyalty.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Ensure the pharmacy remains orderly and maintains ongoing staff training and development.
• Prioritize and complete department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in retail pharmacy management preferred.
