This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead a retail pharmacy team in Altoona, PA. This permanent position offers a 36-hour workweek with variable day and afternoon shifts to provide flexibility. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy strategies.
• Verify prescription accuracy through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
• Manage departmental profitability and growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Coordinate inventory control with the District Manager and pharmacy staff to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Set and monitor performance objectives aligned with key department metrics for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through healthcare counseling and addressing medical-related inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty.
• Communicate with physicians and use reference materials to clarify prescription concerns.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
