Pharmacist - Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

This role is a direct hire opportunity located in Altoona, PA, offering a 36-hour workweek with variable day and afternoon shifts. The position focuses on leadership within a retail pharmacy environment, overseeing daily operations to ensure compliance, profitability, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with the store operations team and communicate company strategies to pharmacy staff.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through detailed Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance procedures aligned with state and federal regulations.
• Drive business growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) where available.
• Manage inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceuticals to meet customer demand while maximizing profit.
• Align departmental performance with key metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide healthcare counseling and resolve customer inquiries to build trust and loyalty.
• Supervise, train, coach, and manage pharmacy associates, ensuring department security.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
• Prioritize and execute pharmacy tasks like cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
