A Northern California retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide coverage during a two-week vacation period. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who want to gain valuable experience in a retail setting, including recent graduates.

Location: Blue Lake, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Week of 6/22: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
• Week of 6/29: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately while maintaining high safety standards
• Provide patient counseling on medication use and potential side effects
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage inventory and workflow
• Assist customers with over-the-counter medication inquiries and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Valid pharmacist license to practice in California
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
