This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacist to work in a busy outpatient pharmacy associated with a Children’s Hospital near Kansas City, MO. This position offers a focused setting where you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing as well as providing valuable patient counseling.

Responsibilities:

• Verify, fill, and check prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and answer any related questions.
• Maintain compliance with all state pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Missouri Pharmacist license is required.
• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday during day shifts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts.
• Immediate start preferred.
• Contract duration of approximately 13 weeks or longer.
