A well-established 250-bed community hospital in the Kansas City suburbs is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their pharmacy team on a contract basis. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care within a supportive hospital environment that utilizes Meditech and Pyxis systems. Location: Blue Springs, MO
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring to optimize drug therapy
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide medication-related consultations
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license in Missouri
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred
