A 250-bed community hospital in the Kansas City suburbs is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide vital pharmaceutical services. This 26-week+ contract opportunity offers Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., allowing for a structured schedule with evenings and weekends off.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles for tailored patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Meditech and Pyxis systems for medication management and IT support

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri Pharmacist license is required
