This contract position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, ideal for professionals seeking a consistent workweek. The assignment is set to begin ASAP and will last 13 weeks or longer.

Key responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain operational efficiency
• Collaborating and consulting with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
• Managing pharmacokinetics and medication therapy adjustments as needed
• Utilizing Cerner electronic health record systems to support clinical operations

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An active Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in rehab or acute care settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic medical record software
