An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Boise, ID. This contract position offers an engaging environment where clinical expertise is applied daily to provide excellent pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. The assignment begins ASAP and extends for 13 weeks or longer, with Monday through Friday day shifts.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care plans
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to individualize medication therapies
• Utilize Cerner IT systems to manage medication records and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Idaho pharmacist license or ability to obtain quickly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a healthcare team
