A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Boise, ID, offering a chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract position begins as soon as possible and extends for at least 13 weeks, with the potential for further engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Consult with nurses and physicians on medication therapy and patient care
• Utilize pharmacokinetics principles to optimize drug dosing
• Collaborate within the healthcare team to maintain high standards of patient safety and care
• Work with Cerner IT systems for clinical documentation and medication management

Qualifications:

• Current Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Experience working in a hospital setting, ideally with rehabilitation patients
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Competency in clinical pharmacy practices and medication management software
