Pharmacist in Boise, ID

A 13-week+ pharmacist opportunity is available at a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Boise, ID, starting ASAP. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, supporting a focused, patient-centered care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Consult with nurses and physicians regarding medication therapies and patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics assessments and dosage adjustments
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospital team to ensure optimal medication management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain it quickly
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Competence in using Cerner IT systems for medication management
• Strong communication and leadership skills suited to a clinical setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
