An opportunity is available for experienced pharmacists to contribute their expertise in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract role, starting ASAP, is ideal for professionals licensed in Massachusetts with inpatient pharmacy experience seeking a meaningful assignment.

Location:

• Salem, MA

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare team members to optimize patient medication therapy
• Manage pharmacokinetic assessments and dosing adjustments
• Utilize healthcare IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required
• Proven experience working in an inpatient hospital pharmacy environment
• Competency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective healthcare collaboration
• Ability to maintain high standards in fast-paced, variable shifts
