A pharmacy in Boston, MA, specializing in long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder medications, is urgently seeking experienced pharmacists to support their production workflow following a recent system conversion.

This contract opportunity requires pharmacists ready to step into a fast-paced environment to help clear backlogs and stabilize operations over the next 4 to 6 weeks. Candidates will need to be flexible with shifts, including mornings and evenings Monday through Friday, plus weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

  • PV1 Pharmacists: Review and clear data entries accurately to ensure smooth processing.
  • PV2 Pharmacists: Check and verify medication fills, labels, and blister packs for quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to manage increased volume post-system rollout.
  • Adapt quickly to new Frameworks software and workflow processes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Massachusetts pharmacist license required.
  • Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacy experience will also be considered.
  • Capacity to work flexible shifts including opening and closing hours as well as weekends.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in medication processing.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (opening/closing shifts)
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Flexibility to cover weekend hours highly preferred.
