A new opportunity is available for licensed pharmacists to support a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder pharmacy in Boston, MA. This contract role requires immediate availability to help a recently transitioned site stabilize its workflow following a system upgrade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PV1 Pharmacists (2 openings): Review and clear data entry to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • PV2 Pharmacists (2 openings): Check and verify prescription fills, labels, and blister pack preparations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license required.
  • Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacists with adaptability are also encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Flexibility to cover opening, closing shifts Monday through Friday, plus some weekend hours.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (shifts may vary)
  • Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This assignment is for approximately 4 to 6 weeks, with the goal of helping the client catch up on backlogged production and stabilize their workflow. The client recently implemented a new Frameworks system, so familiarity or comfort with system transitions is advantageous.
