Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and provide guidance as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to monitor and adjust drug dosing
• Utilize healthcare IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• Active South Dakota pharmacy license required
• Inpatient experience, especially within hospital or surgical settings, is highly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively consult clinical staff
