Pharmacist - Brawley, California

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with oncology expertise to support a community health system in the El Centro, CA area. This contract position offers day shifts Monday through Friday, with an immediate start and a duration of approximately 13 weeks. Candidates who thrive in this role may have the option to transition to a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with nurses and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for oncology patients.
• Utilize oncology knowledge to ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care within a smaller community health system.
• Provide medication counseling and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license.
• Solid experience in oncology pharmacy.
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential is preferred.
• Comfortable and adaptable working in a smaller, community health environment.
