Pharmacist in Brentwood, TN

A mail order renal specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist to support its high-volume prescription fulfillment. This role involves performing vital final verification processes for prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication dispensing.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) functions
• Perform final verification of medications, verifying correct medication is dispensed
• Confirm directions and prescription information accurately against hard copies
• Support daily pharmacy operations without on-call responsibilities

Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with appropriate credentials
• Familiarity with mail order or specialty pharmacy operations preferred
• Experience with verification processes and attention to detail
• Comfortable using pharmacy order entry systems; experience with Wellsky is a plus

Contract Details:

• Initial 13+ week contract with potential to convert to full-time
