A new pharmacist opportunity is available at a renal specialty mail order pharmacy located in Brentwood, TN. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM with no on-call duties, providing a consistent work-life balance. The position is contract-based for 13 weeks with potential to convert to permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties, including final verification of prescriptions.
• Ensure accuracy of medication contents and labeling by verifying medication in the bottle or box.
• Confirm directions and prescription information align with hard copy documentation.
• Utilize the Wellsky order entry system; note that this facility operates without automation.
• Handle verification for approximately 1,000 prescriptions filled daily in a renal specialty and mail order setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing.
• Prior experience in pharmacy verification processes preferred.
• Familiarity with renal specialty pharmacy protocols is a plus.
• Competent with pharmacy computer systems; experience with Wellsky software is favorable.
• Able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
• Location in Brentwood, Tennessee.
• 40 hours per week.
