Pharmacist | Brentwood, Tennessee

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a pharmacist on a 13-week contract with potential for contract-to-hire. This role supports a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy that fills approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. The position offers consistent weekday hours with no on-call responsibilities.

Location:

• Situated near Brentwood, TN with the actual worksite in Lavergne, TN

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties
• Conduct final verification processes
• Ensure correct medications is dispensed in the appropriate container
• Verify directions and prescription information thoroughly against hard copies
• Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system in a non-automated setting

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing
• Experience with pharmacy verification processes strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Wellsky system or ability to quickly learn pharmacy software
• Detail-oriented, accuracy focused, and able to maintain quality checks
• Comfortable working independently during the scheduled shift
