A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a mail order, renal specialty pharmacy filling approximately 1,000 prescriptions per day. This role is based in Brentwood, TN, offering a 13-week contract with potential to transition to full-time employment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• ASAP start

Responsibilities include performing Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) duties. Key tasks involve the final verification process, ensuring the correct medication is dispensed, and confirming the accuracy of directions and prescription details against hard copy documents. The pharmacy utilizes the Wellsky order entry system and does not have automation. No on-call duties are required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Experience with prescription verification and pharmacy dispensing procedures
• Familiarity with pharmacy order entry systems, preferably Wellsky
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently within a high-volume dispensing environment
