Pharmacist in Brentwood, TN

An independent pharmacy focused on personalized patient care seeks a licensed Pharmacist to join their team with a mission centered on delivering fast, friendly service and expert medication advice. This role supports a healthcare approach where “one size doesn’t always fit all,” offering compounding, medication-management, and delivery services to treat patients like family and foster long-term relationships beyond dispensing medications.

Location: Nashville, TN (1406 McGavock Pk STE A)
Position: 13-week contract with potential to convert to permanent
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (32–40 hours/week)
• Possible every other Saturday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (subject to coverage)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in compliance with laws and regulations
• Provide expert counseling on medication therapy, side effects, interactions, and usage to patients and caregivers
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize medication management and patient outcomes
• Maintain precise patient records, review prescriptions for correctness and interactions
• Promote a positive workplace culture by leading through example and supporting the team
• Stay informed of industry best practices and adapt to evolving protocols and technologies

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in Tennessee required
• Experience with PioneerRX pharmacy software preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Commitment to outstanding customer service
