Pharmacist in Bridgeport, CT

This opportunity is seeking two experienced pharmacists to support a healthcare facility on a 13-week contract starting November 2nd. The role offers a mix of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, working five 8-hour shifts per week. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of pharmacy experience, including PGY1 residency training or equivalent practice years if not residency trained.

Pharmacists with inpatient experience and some exposure to children’s and women’s health are encouraged to apply. Depending on your background and skill set, you may be assigned to clinical areas relevant to your expertise or operational roles within the dispensing pharmacy. Opportunities include serving as Pharmacist in Charge or contributing to sterile processing operations.

Location: Bridgeport, CT
Shift: Mix of days and evenings; rotating weekends (5 x 8-hour shifts)
Duration: 13 weeks starting 11/2

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years pharmacy practice experience
• Completion of PGY1 residency or equivalent experience (2-3 years if not residency trained)
• Inpatient pharmacy background preferred
• Exposure to pediatrics and women’s health a plus
• Strong competence in clinical or operational pharmacy functions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications safely and accurately
• Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient populations including children and women’s health
• Participate in operational pharmacy activities such as sterile processing or management duties
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
