A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a rehabilitation hospital environment in the Boston area. This role offers a dynamic setting where you will contribute to comprehensive patient care by managing medication therapies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Location:

  • Boston area, Brockton, MA

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Day shifts: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration:

  • 13 weeks or more
  • Immediate start

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a rehab hospital setting
  • Utilize electronic systems such as Epic and Pyxis to manage prescriptions and automated dispensing
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines
  • Provide pharmaceutical care by reviewing patient medication regimens and educating patients and healthcare providers
  • Support clinical staff by monitoring therapeutic outcomes and offering drug information as needed

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts pharmacist license (retail and new graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic, and automated dispensing systems such as Pyxis
  • Strong knowledge of medication management in an inpatient or hospital rehabilitative setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
