Pharmacist in Brockton, MA

This contract position is ideal for pharmacists who are licensed in Massachusetts, including retail pharmacists and new graduates eager to gain experience in a clinical environment. Location: Brockton, MA (Boston area)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks+
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and distribute medications within the rehab hospital setting
• Use of Epic and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation
• Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Conduct medication reviews and provide guidance on pharmaceutical use
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts (MA license required)
• Experience in retail pharmacy acceptable; new graduates encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with electronic medical systems such as Epic and automated dispensing systems like Pyxis is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a healthcare team
