Per Diem Pharmacist | Bronx, New York

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to support an independent retail pharmacy in Hempstead, NY. This role offers consistent shifts with a well-organized workload, averaging approximately 300 prescriptions per week, complemented by a supportive and experienced bilingual pharmacy technician and management team.

Location: Hempstead, NY
Schedule:

• October 1, 2, and 5
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
• Must arrive by 10:45 AM and remain until 7:15 PM to ensure a smooth handoff and closing transition

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive independent retail pharmacy duties
• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide excellent patient care
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient and compliant operations

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted New York State Pharmacist License
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
• Community/retail pharmacy experience required
• Immunization certification preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx dispensing software is strongly preferred
• Spanish language fluency is a plus (translation support provided by the technician)

This is a per diem position with the potential to earn a completion bonus after all three shifts are worked.
