Per Diem Pharmacist | Bronx, New York

An immediate opportunity is available for a Per Diem Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Bronx, NY. This role is critical to maintaining service continuity, starting with an essential shift on Thursday, October 9th. Coverage afterward will be on an as-needed basis, primarily weekdays, allowing flexible scheduling without night or weekend hours.

Location:

• Bronx, NY

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No nights or weekends
• Closed most federal holidays
• Per Diem with shifts as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medication-related guidance and education to patients to ensure safe and effective use
• Support and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians; identify and address knowledge gaps through training
• Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and professional pharmacy practice

Ideal Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid New York State Pharmacist License
• Experience in pharmacy practice of any level is welcome
